What issues should we pay attention to when using a high-pressure cleaning pump?
Author:
Check that all connecting components are securely connected, and check that the filter screen is clean, etc. After completing the high-pressure cleaning task, drain the residual water from the equipment, wipe the machine clean, store the inlet and outlet pipes, and place the equipment in a well-ventilated and dry place. Regular maintenance and maintenance are also required. Regularly change the engine oil. Typically, after 200 hours of operation, change to new engine oil to prevent poor lubrication and wear of the machine. Regularly check the O-rings for aging and replace them in a timely manner to maintain good sealing of the equipment.
1. Avoid starting the machine at low pressure. To use your high-pressure washer efficiently, select the correct nozzle. Some high-pressure washers come with interchangeable nozzles for multiple purposes. Low-pressure nozzles allow the machine to draw in detergent, while high-pressure nozzles can spray water at different angles. Choosing the correct nozzle will make the cleaning process more efficient.
2. When installing the high-pressure washer, the cables should be overhead, and the power cord should not be too long. When the unit is submerged, do not allow the cable to be stressed, to prevent the power cord from breaking. Do not submerge the high-pressure washer in mud, otherwise, it will lead to poor heat dissipation and burn out the motor windings.
3. When purchasing a high-pressure washer, pay attention to its Model, flow rate, and lift. If the selected Specification is inappropriate, sufficient water output cannot be obtained, and the efficiency of the unit cannot be maximized. In addition, the rotation direction of the motor should be clarified. Some types of washers can output water in both forward and reverse rotation, but the water output is small and the current is large in reverse rotation, and reverse rotation will damage the motor windings. To prevent electric shock accidents due to leakage when the high-pressure washer is working underwater, a leakage protector should be installed.
4. Do not allow the high-pressure washer to operate under overload for a long time, do not pump water with a large sand content, and be careful when spraying around windows, vents, eaves, and walls. High water pressure may knock down loose and unfixed window glass or shatter it. When cleaning wall panels, point the spray gun downward to reduce the spray force on the lower part of the wall panel, which will prevent water from falling. Similarly, exercise caution when cleaning exterior walls; water may seep through inconspicuous holes around window edges. Inspect all window frames to prevent this seepage.
5. Regularly check the motor of the high-pressure washer. If cracks are found on the bottom cover, or the rubber sealing ring is damaged or失效, it should be replaced or repaired in time to prevent water from entering the machine.
